Lily and The Little
Sparrow

Once upon a time in a
cozy little house with a big green garden lived a sweet girl named Lily.

Lily loved to explore,
and her favorite place was a giant ancient banyan tree, at the very back of her
garden. It was so tall, its branches touched the sky.

One sunny morning,
while Lily was imagining the banyan tree was a grand castle, she heard a tiny,
sad chirping sound. Looking closely, she saw a little baby sparrow tangled in
some loose string. It was struggling, and couldn't fly away. Lily's first
thought was to run inside and tell her mom. But then she remembered her mom
always said, "If you can help someone, don't wait."

So Lily took a deep
breath. She carefully reached out and, with very gentle fingers, untangled the
string from the little bird's leg. The sparrow fluttered its tiny wings, and
instead of flying away, it landed on Lily's finger. It chirped softly, almost
like it was saying, "Thank you." Lily smiled. She named the sparrow
¡°Chirp¡±.

Lily learned that
helping others, even when it seems a little bit scary or difficult, makes you
feel really good inside. And sometimes, it even brings you a wonderful new friend.
From that day on, Chirp would often visit Lily in the garden, landing on her
shoulder or gently pecking at her hair.
